Maren Morris feels 'uncomfortable' attending the CMAs, Know Details

Morris, 32, has been nominated for album of the year for his work on "Humble Quest."

Maren Morris is debating whether to attend the CMA Awards in November after a disagreement with Brittany and Jason Aldean over gender-affirming care for trans youth.

She'll be competing against Luke Combs, Miranda Lambert, Old Dominion, and Lainey Wilson.

Morris made headlines last month when she publicly chastised Brittany Aldean.

The country singer told the Los Angeles Times on Tuesday that she is "very honoured" to have been nominated, but that she will not "feel (at) home" at the award ceremony.

"I'd like to express my gratitude to my parents for not changing my gender during my tomboy phase. I adore my girly life."
